Brian brings a systems-driven approach to residential construction shaped by nearly two decades in automotive diagnostics and a lifelong connection to the building trades. After an 18-year career with Honda and Acura specializing in complex electrical troubleshooting and systems analysis, he developed a precision-focused mindset rooted in understanding how interconnected systems work together to perform reliably.
During this time, Brian remained closely connected to construction through his father’s career in HVAC and residential building, while also completing remodeling and home repair projects on the side. Viewing homes much like complex environments — where structural, mechanical, and electrical systems must operate seamlessly — he recognized an opportunity to raise the standard of residential construction.
His work today centers on one principle: earning clients’ absolute trust through superior execution.
While many children were captivated by Saturday morning cartoons, Brian was drawn to the world of construction and renovation. Programs like Hometime, Bob Vila, and This Old House sparked an early fascination with how homes were built, how systems functioned, and how thoughtful improvements could transform the way people live.
From a young age, he was less interested in entertainment and more focused on understanding the structure behind the walls — the framing, the mechanical systems, and the craftsmanship that determine whether a home truly performs. That early curiosity became the foundation for a career built on precision, foresight, and a commitment to doing the work the right way.
Precision Homes was founded after recognizing a growing gap within the residential construction industry. As demand continues to rise for high-performing, energy-efficient, and sustainable homes, much of the building environment remains rooted in traditional methods that have been slow to fully adopt modern building science, evolving materials, and performance-driven construction practices.
Rather than accepting outdated approaches as the standard, Brian chose to build a company grounded in continuous learning, technical understanding, and disciplined execution. Precision Homes was created to bridge the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern building science — bringing together home building, renovation, and mechanical expertise under one unified philosophy.
Our purpose is not simply to build or remodel homes, but to elevate what homeowners should expect from the construction process. By integrating thoughtful design, advanced materials, and performance-focused construction methods, we create homes that are more comfortable, efficient, durable, and reliable over time.
Through careful planning, precision execution, and personalized service, we aim to deliver spaces that perform as beautifully as they appear — earning our clients’ absolute trust through superior execution.
HOW WE DO IT
Our diverse experience and technical qualifications provide a comprehensive foundation within residential construction. With licensing and hands-on expertise across structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, Precision Homes approaches each project with a complete systems perspective — allowing for better coordination, fewer conflicts, and more precise execution from start to finish.
Every project is carefully planned around the way our clients live and use their homes. From layout decisions and material selection to lighting, comfort, and long-term functionality, we take time to understand both practical needs and personal preferences. This thoughtful approach ensures spaces feel natural, comfortable, and truly tailored to each homeowner.
Having navigated the complexities of building custom homes and remodels during the disruptions of the COVID-19 era, we understand firsthand the uncertainty clients can experience throughout construction. This perspective shapes how we plan, communicate, and guide each project — providing clarity, preparation, and confidence at every stage of the process.
Precision Homes is deeply rooted in the local community we serve. As a native of Berkeley County and a graduate of Hedgesville High School and James Rumsey Technical Institute, Brian has longstanding ties to the region and a personal investment in the quality and character of its neighborhoods. Today, he lives in Shepherdstown with his family and remains actively involved in the community through local organizations, including Rotary and neighborhood architectural review committees.
These connections shape how we approach our work — not simply as contractors, but as neighbors committed to building lasting relationships and contributing positively to the communities we call home. Every project is approached with the same care, accountability, and pride we would expect within our own neighborhood.
At Precision Homes, our work is guided by the belief that a successful project is defined not only by how a space looks on completion day, but by how it performs and feels for years afterward. Every decision — from planning and coordination to the smallest construction detail — is made with long-term comfort, durability, and functionality in mind.
We understand that remodeling or building a home is a significant investment built on trust. By combining thoughtful design, technical expertise, and disciplined execution, we strive to create spaces that feel cohesive, reliable, and truly complete.
Our goal is simple: to deliver work that earns confidence through experience, integrity through craftsmanship, and lasting trust through superior execution.
If you’re considering a project and value thoughtful planning, clear communication, and meticulous execution, we welcome the opportunity to start the conversation. Lets Build It Right.
